Buxton Flower Festival 2017

The bi-annual Buxton Flower Festival at St. Andrew's Church, Buxton near Aylsham has for many years been know for being one of Norfolk’s pre-eminent flower festivals attracting visitors from across the country and even from abroad.

Each delicious floral displays will celebrate entertainment at its best whether that’s entertainment from the theatre, films, songs, literature or other.  Whatever the inspiration Buxton certainly does well to interpret such inspiration with floral abundance.

In past years the festival has been graced by outside broadcasts by BBC Radio Norfolk’s fabulous Maggie Secker; a fine lady of the airwaves and also “Treasure Quest” found its convoluted way to the festival to discover a clue amongst the flowers.

Each flower display stunningly depicts aspects of the theme in floral glory, with striking colours and sculptured forms.  Many will remember 2007’s spectacular festival, when visitors came from as far afield as France for the 3 day event.  This time in addition to the main event, there is a fantastic line-up of activities
